How to backup Gameboy Advance Games
 1. Install Flash Writer software on computer (CD with writer software provided in linker set)
 2. Use Flash Advance Linker a.k.a. Writer to connect GBA / SP cartridge to computer.
 3. Select BACKUP option and the rom data from the cartridge will be transferred to PC.
 3.1 Alternative: Download backups - GBA Roms from internet  4. Write one or multiple GBA ROMS to GBA Flash Memory Card (ReWritable Cartridge)
 5. Put Flash Card in GAMEBOY and you are ready to GO!
(If multiple roms are placed on the lash card - flash writer soft will build a boot menu from which you can select games)
Works on GB Advance, GBA SP and NDS!

How does it work?
The cartridge, simplistic in its design, plugs straight into the back of the Gameboy Advance unit just like a regular game cartridge. The linker cable, which connects the Gameboy Advance unit to the PC, plugs easily into a port on the back of the unit. Once connected, copying ROMs to the cartridge is as simple as dragging and dropping them into the area in the client software that represents the free space on the cartridge. When you are satisfied with the contents of the cartridge, pressing the Flash button in the client software will save the changes that you have made.
GBA ROMS
The X-Rom flash cartridge / linker is a device for the Gameboy Advance unit (original or SP) that you can use to make backups of your games or to play ROMs that you have downloaded from the internet. The cartridge comes in two sizes - 512Mb or 1Gb - and is available from easybuy2000. The cartridge has the capacity to hold up to 32 commercial game ROM files or literally thousands of freeware or public domain ROMs that are available on the internet.

We use Flash Advance Linkers to backup games from Nintendo cartridges and burning games to special GBA Flash Cards. What we do is we connect the Gameboy to PC, put the game into GBA and than we run flash writer software - select gba rom backup option and in about 5 minutes the rom will be fully copied from the cartridge to computer hard driver! It is all very similar to how music can be copied from a CD and later burned to CDRW disk only here

If we insert a special GB Advance flash card in the GBA / GBASP or external flash writer box we can now write the ROMS - that is fee games - to this memory card. Can put multiple games on one card (than we get a menu for selecting games) Also this way we can use GBA or Nintendo DS + Emulator on the Flash Card to play NES roms as well as PC Engine, GBA/GBC, Spectrum, SEGA Game Gear ad Master System and many more classic console games. As if that wasn't enough Movies and MP3 files can be converted into gba roms and played from a flash card!
